Hire a Hall

The Emmanuel Church building contains several rooms which are available for hire. 

Examples of community groups’ use of buildings, on both a regular and an occasional basis, are Birthday parties, keep-fit sessions, the Blood Donor Service, concerts, U3A, self-help groups, to name a few.

Disabled access is provided throughout.

SMALL HALL

The Small Hall can accommodate approximately 35 persons.

A small adjoining kitchen is separated by a sliding screen. The floor is carpeted.

LARGE HALL

The Large Hall can accommodate approximately 80 people and is separated from the main church by sliding interlocking acoustic screens. The large hall can be further subdivided with individual inter-locking screens, which run on raised metal tracks, into 1, 2, or 3 small rooms, each with its own access door. The floor is polished wood.

MAIN CHURCH

The Main Church can accommodate approximately 120 people seated, but can also be cleared to provide a large, clear, carpeted floor space.

LARGER SPACE

By opening up the sliding acoustic screens separating the main church from the large hall, an L-shaped space can be created for over 200 people.

A corridor runs the full length of the church and the large hall providing access to the main church kitchens, cupboards, disabled toilet, and separate-sex toilets.

HEATING    

The small hall is heated by radiators. The remaining church spaces are serviced by under-floor heating.
